Giving Back with Gratitude: CGS India Honoured for CSR Efforts

At CGS, we have long believed that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand. While we are known for our commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional client value, we are equally proud of something that often does not make the headlines: our deep, ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.

Over the years, CGS India has actively supported a wide range of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that reflect our values of empathy, inclusiveness, and care. From education and the environment to the arts and culture, our team continually steps up to help make a meaningful difference. While our overarching mission is to assist the less fortunate, we always strive to give that extra edge to women's and children's welfare, particularly in the areas of healthcare and orphanages.

One of the partnerships we are especially proud of is our support of the Indian Red Cross Society. While it is just one part of our overall CSR work, it recently took centre stage in a way that makes all of us incredibly proud. On 8th May, CGS India was formally recognised for our contributions to the Indian Red Cross and other charitable initiatives -- one of only 15 companies selected from a pool of more than 500 organisations.

It was an extraordinary honour to accept this recognition on behalf of our team at a ceremony hosted by the Governor of Telangana, His Excellency Shri Jishnu Dev Varma. The award was based not only on our contributions but also on our commitment to involvement, ownership, and employee-led volunteering. Being acknowledged in the presence of so many respected leaders from across Hyderabad was a moment I shall not forget.

But this recognition is not about me. It is about CGS as a team. I want to sincerely thank every CGS team member from across the world who has rolled up their sleeves, donated their time, or helped bring our CSR programmes to life.

Your spirit of giving back is what makes this company truly special. And I am deeply grateful to our Chairman, Phil Friedman, for his continued support and encouragement of these efforts.
